Superannuation and Investment

Actuaries play a key role advising sponsors and trustees of superannuation funds in relation to scheme design, scheme funding, investment, scheme accounting, risk management and corporate transactions. Actuaries are also heavily involved in many areas of investment work, centred around the equity and bond markets and the currency, property and derivatives markets. Actuaries in this sector tend to work for asset managers, banks or investment consultancies.
